Cable distribution cabinets is a product group within ABB’s Electrification business that develops, promotes and sells enclosures, fusegears and cable connectors which are a vital part of the low voltage distribution network. The products are mainly sold via wholesalers and OEMs in the Nordic countries, primarily to utilities, industrial and commercial building companies via ABB local sales organizations.
As a Quality Specialist you will be a key player in the quality team enhancing the entire quality organization. You will work closely with the team as well as other departments to drive continuous improvements and solve quality issues. It is a demanding role where structured approach and quality-centric mindset are needed in a rewarding and interesting function where collaborative skills are key.
Your responsibilities
Lead a cross-functional forum that on a daily basis drive and support problem solving in production to improve quality aspects.
Be in charge of quality investigations, lead quality improvement plans and pro-actively work to decrease manufacturing quality cost.
Manage customer and supplier claims together with the team, and potentially perform supplier audits.
Support PPAP (production part approval process) maintenance.
Deploy and support a quality culture, by assuring and controlling quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations and ensuring sustainable operations.
Perform quality data analytics from all parts of the operations to identify risks, failures and non-conformances within the local operations, its suppliers and customers.
Ensure the implementation of effective internal controls to verify that processes will meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
Validate that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating known risks.

Your background
A Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering.
>2 years experience in production or industrial engineering. Other industrial experience is qualifying.
Background within Lean Six Sigma is qualifying.
Knowledge in SAP and PTC Windchill, is desirable but not a requirement.
You are a true team player with a problem-solving oriented and structured mindset.
You have a strong commitment to drive continuous improvements and take charge to make it happen.
You are collaborative and have strong communication skills, as projects and problem- solving will be handled cross-functional in the organization.
You are fluent in Swedish and English, both in text and speech.
