The Quality Specialist has the role of deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Motor Starting & Safety. You will be ensuring and improving quality to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations, and representing the customer’s voice within local teams, providing customer experience feedback and input.
You will support customers, production and stakeholders in accordance to the quality management system, while managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB Group/division/business area. This role is reporting to the Quality Manager.


Your responsibilities
Being the product quality specialist for the appointed area of products within Motor Starting & Safety
Ensuring that the quality level delivered to customers is according to state of arts and datasheets
Responsible for supplier quality and driving continuous quality improvements of our suppliers
Accountable for manufacturing quality cost and responsible for driving continuous quality improvements and problem solving
Lead quality investigations
Responsible for PPAP and approving deviations for products and processes
Being the “voice of customer” and “voice of quality” in our organization.



Your background
Master of Science in engineering
Several years of experience from working with quality or working as a designer engineer
Sound knowledge of drawings, circuit diagrams, quality methodologies and PPAP
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
Knowledgeable in electronics
Fluent in English in written and spoken form.
