Quality Specialist

Quality Specialist

Arbetsbeskrivning

We aim at setting the industry standard and we’re both passionate and committed when it comes to health and safety, quality and sustainability. We play fair, build circularity and champion people, and together we make the shift towards a more sustainable world. Do you share our passion?
For Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions and division Rock Tools, we’re looking for a brave and driven Quality Specialist – someone to take a global responsibility in pushing us towards industry-leading quality, and work under freedom with exciting tasks together with different parts of our organization. If you want to be a part of dynamic changes with great impact and feel the pulse of a global industrial frontrunner with many brilliant minds, you should definitely keep reading!
Your mission
With world class quality in mind, you drive global improvements within Rock Tools through quality forums, activities, projects and audits as well as task forces to address urgent matters. You facilitate the usage of relevant structures and tools globally – such as a process focused quality management system, project model, problem solving methodology and statistical process control – and you’re also coaching and training our organization in these tools, methods and audit procedures. Acting as process owner for cross-functional quality processes and parts of our management system, you drive development activities in collaboration with relevant global stakeholders within our design, production and management departments.
You take part in global quality networks, providing expertise and contributing to the development of our quality strategy and connected roadmaps, including our digital transformation and development of IT systems.
You’re located at one of our major hubs in either Sandviken or Västberga, Stockholm (Sweden), and some travelling is naturally included post Covid-19, both internationally and locally.
Your character
We’re looking for a splendid networker with a proven track record from developing modern quality management systems and driving change in a global industrial environment. You’re experienced in internal auditing and you probably have strong knowledge within Six Sigma and project management. Education-wise, you have a relevant master’s degree, such as engineering. As we work in a global organization, you are fluent in English while other languages such as Swedish could come in handy.
Your personality is characterized by a truly collaborative mindset and great communication skills; helping you to build trust and drive your agenda in the daily contact with colleagues and stakeholders across our whole organization. With your solid leadership skills and inner drive, you have what it takes to drive change and reach goals at different levels in the organization, as well as to guide, train and support our customers.
