About you
We are looking for someone with :
-Good knowledge of purchasing teams and suppliers daily operational activities
-Very good knowledge about customer´s demands and expectations on product quality
-Good knowledge of the product requirements, standards and test methods.
-Knowledge of production and operation processes
-Good knowledge of Lean tools (six sigma) as 5 why, FMEA, fish bone, root cause analysis
-Good knowledge of project management tools and auditing techniques
-Good knowledge about risk assessment and mitigation of identified risks
-Very good knowledge of IKEA Product and Chemical Requirements and chemical substances in production processes and material
-Knowledge about the IKEA Quality Strategy and Chemical Strategy
-Good knowledge of IKEA Democratic Design and how everyday work adds customer value by delivering to it

About the job
The purpose of this position is to support the business development teams in achieving results in the area of Quality by performing product gate checks and other activities to verify compliance to IKEA product requirements, related working methods and standards. Lead product requirement reviews including Connect verifications to verify product compliance.

About the assignment
As Quality Specialist/Product Compliance Specialist you will lead projects together with the business development team in case of quality deviations to support problem identification. You will also lead advanced and specific global/local projects related to quality, audit and assess internal working methods and processes according to the quality part in purchasing manual and support introduction and development of new engineers for common working methods and tools. The Quality Specialist / Product Compliance Specialist will also lead implementation and contribute to development of common working methods and tools in the purchase operations area for the Engineering and Quality matrix.

Other responsibilities:
-Secure four eyes principals and together with Quality Compliance manager lead gate check before first delivery
-Support with specialist knowledge of product Safety & Health related requirements as well as mapping and risk assessment of relevant material and processes
-Contribute in developing and lead implementation of global product compliance working methods and tools for the business development teams in the purchase operations area
-Verify Product Compliance by performing spot sample reviews with focus on product documentation and testing of products, and based on results of the reviews and related root-cause analysis, secure corrective and preventive actions together with the business development teams
-Support the teams in Category to evaluate new potential suppliers in addressing risks connected to Product safety and Chemical Compliance
-Participate in the development of new IKEA product requirements, securing input on potential impacts from a supply chain perspective
-Perform trouble-shooting when non-compliance to Safety & Health requirements has been found; be Risk Team member in case of Safety Alarms
