What you will do
In this role you will be part of a group of engineers and drive continuous improvement activities within Quality in our Strips and Film Factory in Fjällbacka. Your focus will be to ensure the quality performance level of our products. You will maintain and improve the processes for strips and film production. You will participate in and drive many interesting improvement teams which will give you the possibility to develop a deep understanding of areas such as continuous improvement, equipment, material, methods and production processes.
As WCM & Quality Engineer you will:
Drive WCM implementation and secure development and maintenance of WCM competence in the factories
Drive our Quality and Food Safety Management system (ISO, BRC, FDA)
Facilitate our internal WCM Audits as well as our external audit from customer.
Participate in validation process of lines/materials
Facilitate system performance improvement projects within our additional materials manufacturing plant
Support and drive issues and root cause analysis related to Technical issues according to the Issue Resolution Process
Drive the quality control process (quality control plans, measurement system analysis)
Participate in improvement projects internal and together with our suppliers to secure specification alignment
Handle networking process with key stakeholders (i.e. Market Companies, Production, and D&E).

This position is permanent and will be based in Fjällbacka (Sweden) but you will work in a global arena.
Who you are
To be successful in this role:
Engineering degree, preferably in automation, industrial or process engineering, with strong technical background.
Experience within supplier quality and/or development in manufacturing industry or similar experience on process engineering / project management in food industry
Background in quality systems, and continuous improvement programs as WCM (World Class Manufacturing) and Six Sigma is appreciated.
You have strong skills and efficient abilities on Problem Solving situations and challenges.
Your English and Swedish skills are excellent, written as well as spoken.
You are an advanced user of MS Office 365 collaboration tools, Power BI, SAP environment, Statistical tools such as Minitab and normal quality control tools
Preferably, you have previous experience from a large multinational company.

You also have the ability to work with Stakeholder, Management, project/product engineering, supply management and logistic teams on a daily basis. To work with individuals and teams on different organizational levels is for you highly motivating.
