We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quantitative Analyst with great attention to detail and good sense for probability to join our cross-functional team.
The main responsibility of the group for quantitative analysis is to design, implement, evaluate, maintain, and improve core functionality in automating operational processes. This entails mathematical modeling in diverse contexts, including predictive probabilistic models for pricing the sports book.
The group interacts and collaborates with several of the company's departments, where you will have the opportunity to take a key role working in cross-functional teams.
You will be joining a team based in central Stockholm and will report to the Head of Quantitative Analytics.
Main responsibilities:
• Support and work in close collaboration with trading, risk and other areas of the business by providing algorithmic solutions
• Responsible for the end-to-end process of algorithm development, from inception to deployment as well as maintenance
• Analysis and interpretation of data to produce meaningful information, in particular changes in patterns and trends
• Communicate results and ideas to stakeholders
Skills and experience:
• An academic degree in a quantitative discipline (computer science, mathematics, physics, etc.)
• Previous experience in a similar role designing predictive models for real-world business problems
• Advanced knowledge of stochastic processes, mathematical methods and probability theory
• Proficiency with C/C++
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R and/or Python) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
• Experience with SQL, cloud computing (Google, AWS) or knowledge about sports is a plus
