Responsibilities
The Quantitative Team Lead:
Leads a team of Quantitative developers, up to 10 team members
Is responsible for the 1-3 big customers with a significant number of requests for math models and apps as additional service to Tbricks system
Directs the quantitative software (systems, applications or mathematical models) development function, including the mathematical / numerical / algorithmic analysis and/or design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of the software for the financial industry with essential mathematical / numerical / algorithmic content
Is in direct interaction with clients to gather technical information about solving issues
-Is a company representative on Engineering/Maths conferences, engineering/maths communities


Main processes, systems, tools used
Software development process: code-review, test driven development, domain driven design
Tools: vim, bash, Emacs, Slack, git, Doxygen, Latex, memory & CPU profilers, Google suite, Jupyter, Matlab, Python, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio
Systems: Linux, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, gtest, gmock, google benchmark



Experience
7+ years of experience in Science Research and Tbricks system quant components development
Working experience of leading a team and complex math projects
Strong competence in mathematical software usage
Good knowledge of C++
Experience in Fintech is a must
Familiar with OOP and design principles. Functional programming considered a plus
Can steer a legacy codebase towards a better, more usable shape
Strong reasoning and algorithmic skills
Team player
English knowledge is a must
