R & D Engineer on Multi-standard Broadband Modem

Job description The R & D engineer will be responsible for: 1) ASIC and DSP design for baseband modems which requires in-depth knowledge of GSM/3GPP UMTS systems 2) Statistic signal processing 3) Parallel programming architecture targeting radio baseband processing 4) Multi-tasking radio handover among multiple radio access technologies 5) Multimedia system and architecture for mobile terminals 6) Multi-antenna enhanced baseband algorithm and architecture design Since many of the projects are done in close collaboration with our customers and operators you will work in an international environment that requires that you are confident using English verbally as well as writing.The work also requires that you have the ability to explain problems and issues in a clear and logical way to other project members and managers.You also must have the ability to work, in a team or independently, in a structured way following established processes and methods outlined by the line organization.Your background Formal education needed is PhD in electrical engineering.If you also have one or more of the below requested experiences this will be further qualifying and make you even more interesting to us: 1) Four years experience in ASIC and DSP design for multimedia and baseband processing 2) Two years experience with multimedia system design for mobile terminals 3) Four years experience in parallel programming architecture targeting radio baseband processing 4) Good knowledge in statistic signal processing and its implementation 5) At least three years experience with 3GPP LTE simulation and ASIC implementation 6) At least four years experience in digital ASIC design flow, and project experience with deep-submicron semiconductor process (e.g.65nm) is preferred 7) Well organized and structured in your work 8) Flexible and having the ability to prioritize How to apply In this process we cooperate with Academic Search.You apply to the position by clicking on the link below which will take you to an application form where you attach your CV and personal letter.Since the recruitment process is started we want your application as soon as possible but no later than the 14 of October.
