R3625876 Service Technician (mechanic) / Senior Uptower Repair Technician

We are looking for committed and experienced service technicians in Sweden!
You plan repair work on the drive train elements of our wind turbines mainly in the northern part of Sweden and carry it out on site with the support of local service teams.
Role Summary/Purpose:
Carrying out all repairs that cannot be performed by the service organization due to special tools and knowledge, such as gearbox and generator repairs as well as the associated electrical components
Independent preparation and organization of your repair work in close coordination with the other wind service teams in the relevant regions
You and your team work at great heights (150m) and in accordance with defined GE guidelines or public requirements by strictly adhering to processes, control procedures and current inspection results
Use these results and the available error analyzes to develop the correct problem solution, pass the results on to your service colleagues and develop suggestions for improvement, prepare information and pass them on to technical support
Creation of reports of the work carried out
You and your team always keep an eye on GE's safety, health and environmental requirements and ensure that they are applied in practice!

Qualifications/Requirements:
Completed technical vocational training with mechanical and / or mechatronic characteristics, or equivalent experience / knowledge
Completed technical vocational training with mechanical and / or mechatronic characteristics, or equivalent experience / knowledge
Initiative and ability to work Geübt independently
Proficient in working with computers and standard applications such as MS Office
Interest in working at heights (up to 150m) and an awareness of the associated increased safety requirements
Valid class B driving license.
A good knowledge of English is also an important requirements
Pronounced willingness to travel

Desired Characteristics:
Proven experience in leading field service team;
In the case of purely mechanical training, the additional qualification “Electrician for a specified area of activity” Ability to read and understand mechanical construction plans and electrical circuit diagrams
