Our Exciting Opportunity
At Baseband in Kista we are responsible to systemize, design, implement and integrate software features to control the air interface in the 5G Radio Access Network. We develop products that secure Ericsson technology leadership and our customer’s success. In the design department we are strengthening our capability to troubleshoot issues on Radio Access Network.
We are extending our competence team that analyze and troubleshoot challenges with a wide approach, considering radio conditions, configurations feature combinations and much more. To lead the complexity of the troubleshooting team is on an automation journey and moving into the area of data analytics and machine learning. This will be an important part of our work in the time to come.
You will
Work in a team of highly skilled troubleshooters on reported problems from customer networks or internal testing
Troubleshoot Ericsson Radio Access Network to establish if a Baseband product issue can be suspected
Reproduce problems in lab and narrow down a problem to a software domain
Participate in task forces, taking technical lead on customer high priority problems and high priority internal faults
Evolve baseband troubleshooting technology and tools
To be successful in the role you must have
Troubleshooting in Ericsson customer networks
Knowledge in 5G and 4G 3GPP standards
Knowledge in automation, data analytics, machine learning and AI techniques
C or C++ design experience
Knowledge of troubleshooting and analysis methods and tools
Delivering Results & Meeting Customer Expectations
Organized and structured
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer science or equivalent
