If you like to do something different and become a change-maker, it is probably a very good idea to join us, the Radio algorithm department is a global team working towards the joint radio algorithm backlog, covering from early phases where our technology area plans are settled, development of algorithms, deliveries for HW implementation, SW management, configuration and tuning support, all the way to the maintenance of the products.
This role includes all development activities such as architecture design, requirement analysis, system design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design.
Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We develop new algorithms in teams where continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.
You will
Participate in radio solution activities, assess the feasibility of proposed solutions and bring in alternative approaches.
Break down the resulting radio solution requirements to the radio algorithm level.
Deliver requirement baseline towards SoC implementation and verification teams.
Mainly focus area is Antenna Calibration, but also be involved in and own the system view of architecture design for other areas such as Digital Pre-distortion (DPD), Down Link Linearization, Crest Factor Reduction (CFR), Passive Inter-Modulation (PIM), Machine Learning, and Radio Beamforming
Execute pre-development and continuous analysis activities.
Develop Simulation strategies and methodologies and follow through Execution
Test and develop high-quality products
Perform troubleshooting and customer support

To be successful in the role you must have
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Preference would be given to applicants with a Ph.D. degree and 3 - 5 years of experience
Demonstrated ability and understanding of algorithm development, in one or more of the following areas: Antenna Calibration, Digital Pre-distortion (DPD), Down Link Linearization, Crest Factor Reduction (CFR), MIMO and Radio Beamforming, PIMC and Machine Learning
Tools experience: MATLAB, RF measurements tools, Spectrum Analyzers, HLS tools are good to have
Experience with the 4G/5G Physical layer processing.
Analytical, structured, and result oriented attitude. You will find creative solutions when lacking information and think outside the box.
A genuine interest in Telecommunication and Radio Technology.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
The right person should be able to see the big picture and take a pragmatic approach to dealing with all types of challenges.
