Our Exciting Opportunity
Radio Products Sweden 2 works with the development of 5G High Band Radio products where board design is a crucial part. We are now looking for an experienced radio board designer to join our team of highly skilled engineers.
The work is done together with other multi-functional teams in Lund and other sites in Ericsson globally. The work includes requirement analysis, system design, schematics, simulations and layout planning. You will also be working with Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in multi-functional development teams.
You will
Perform continuous requirement handling.
Design different subsystems including TX/RX Transceiver sub-circuits, filters, matching, and front-end.
Planning of routing, layout and PCB layer usage
Simulate the board design electrical properties
Work with continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in your technical domain
Report to Line Manager of Radio Design

To be successful in the role you must have
MSc level in electrical engineering or the equivalent.
Minimum 5 years relevant work or academic experience
Excellent English skills, oral and written.
Experience in HW design and/or board design.
Experience in simulation and layout tools
Knowledge of simulation tools (ADS, HFSS)
Domain experience: RF/Microwave HW design, HW test and validation, Simulations and schematics and PCB design tools.
The quality of being result oriented with an interest of taking own initiatives and drive improvements.
The quality of being an excellent teammate with good networking skills.
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
