Radio Configuration Manager
5G networks are evolving rapidly and the need for new and different radio products are increasing. The radio products have a huge impact on Ericsson bottom line and are therefore close to business and close top management.
The possibilities are endless, and we now need an experienced Configuration Manager for the evolution of radio unit product structure and ever-growing radio product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
• Evolving the product structure for new radio product architecture
• Handling new revision states for SW and HW products and product structures in Ericsson's product management system
• Maintaining and updating product structures, creating and releasing document overviews for new products
• Storing and releasing SW and HW Ericsson Radio System products
• Testing and evaluating automation of Product Deliveries with Ericsson internal tool
• Driving the process and WoW improvements across sites globally
• Handling and managing international global Trouble Reports for multiple development projects
Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering / Engineering Physics / Data communication, or equivalent.
• Min years of experience: >5 years working experience in Configuration Management or Release Management in global company
• Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
• Good in both spoken and written English
• Planning and Organizing
• Ability to work with both short-term and long-term objectives, involving the big picture as well as implementation details
• Innovating, adapting and responding to change
• Self-motivated, with drive and initiative
• Outgoing and easy to cooperate
Desirable Competence:
• Strong knowledge of Radio access technologies (WCDMA, LTE, NR).
• Strong knowledge in Radio products.
• Strong background in architecture and product structures.
• >3 years of working experience within system or design within RAN or radio base station development
• Strong analytical skills.
• Working with people and networking
• Leadership interest and skills.
• Business understanding
