About PDU Radio:
Product Development Unit Radio (PDU Radio) drives the end-to-end research and development of Ericsson’s radio products and solutions. We are a global organization, within Development Unit Networks (DNEW), of approximately 3,000 engineers and developers collaborating across nine sites in Canada, China, and Sweden to drive Ericsson’s strategy of securing our ongoing market leadership in radio, taking a leadership position in 5G!
About Radio Systems & Technology:
Radio Systems & Technology drives radio product and technology evolution, high-level systemization, architecture definition, standardization, mid- and long-term development plans, and long-term product plans (products and features) for PDU Radio!
You will : -
Drive radio "design-to-cost" studies or strategies for Radio products
Interact with Product Management and technical specialists to define the radio portfolio and product requirements for design-to-cost
Perform requirement breakdown from Radio level to modules for design-to-cost
Evolve the Radio HW and SW architecture and system-level design to meet the product requirements on design-to-cost
Participate in strategic work to evolve the long-term radio portfolio "solutions", "technology", and "architecture" for on design-to-cost
Drive and participate in design-to-cost early phase studies (TA/predev, PoP, etc.)
Drive other Radio design-to-cost activities, business case analysis, presentations, etc.
To be successful in the role you must have : -
MSc degree in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
Driving skills (Planning, communication, presentation, etc.)
Excellent inter-personal skills, flexibility and willingness to adapt & respond to change
Minimum 5 years knowledge and experience of Radio product design
You should ideally have : -
Knowledge and Experience in Radio Base Station (RBS) or Baseband system or HW/ SW design implementation, architectures, integration, and verification
Radio Requirement refinement and allocation skills (from RAN, RBS-level to Radio level)
Documented work experience as team leader to plan and deliver technical/customer work
Data analysis knowledge and experience
Interested in business case analysis and proposals
Craftsman’s spirit inside of you and you want to make an influence in Radio product design decisions
