Role Summary/Purpose:
We are seeking two people with a background in cyclotron and / or chemistry service to join the Radio Pharmacy Service team.
Essential Responsibilities:
The service modality based in Uppsala is the world's leading service provider for GE cyclotrons and GE synthesizers. As a product specialist, you will provide remote technical advise and support to colleagues, field engineers and customers around the globe via phone and email. You will act as a key link between field service and modality departments such as engineering, production and manufacturing.
In the role as Radio Pharmacy (RP) Online Engineer, you will have the opportunity to grow your expertise and to experience the full range of field service and customer interaction at GE Healthcare. This will include the following responsibilities:
Handle customer calls (RSL) for service on RP
Act as a link between service and other departments, share knowledge and drive for fix and improvements
Provide service/customer training
Write technical documentations such as service bulletins and service notes
Help the Operations team with planning upon escalations
Represent RP Online Centre (OLC) in customer escalation calls and care for quality of the OLC as a whole to minimize the number of complains and response time
Depending on applicant background the role can lead in two different directions either towards cyclotron or chemistry service related work.
Qualifications/Requirements
Formal education in physics alt. electrical engineering or formal education in organic alt. analytical chemistry - Bachelors degree minimum.
Ability to understand and follow mechanical schematics and electrical wiring diagrams
Excellent computer skills
High degree of quality awareness, excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems
Team player, cooperative, interested in further development
Fluent in English and Swedish
High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with ability to work under pressure
EU work permit
Willing and able to travel with short notice if required (up to maximum 25% of time)
