Role Summary/Purpose:
We have one open position for product specialist with a background in chemistry to join the Radio Pharmacy Service team.
Essential Responsibilities:
The service modality based in Uppsala is the world's leading service provider for GE cyclotrons and GE synthesizers. GE Synthesizers belongs to two series, TRACERLab FX and FASTlab. As a product specialist, you will provide onsite support and remote technical support. You will also act as a key link between field service and modality departments such as engineering, production and manufacturing. In the role as Radio Pharmacy (RP) Product specialist for chemistry, you will have the opportunity to experience the full range of field service and customer interaction at GE Healthcare. This will include the following responsibilities:
Application/service training in the field and in our facility in Uppsala.
Traveling for installation and service missions. Expected amount of travel days is between, 60-100 days/year. Typical travel duration is 1-2 weeks.
Handle customer calls (RSL) for service on RP.
Act as a link between service and other departments, share knowledge.
Create/review service/training related documents
The position is located in Uppsala and is to some extent adaptable depending on applicant experience.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Formal education in Chemistry - Bachelor?s degree minimum.
Ability to understand and follow mechanical schematics and electrical wiring diagrams
Ability to understand/follow general chemical reactions
Excellent computer skills for data trending, remote support towards customer
High degree of quality awareness, excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems
Team player, cooperative, interested in further development
Fluent in English, preferably also Swedish
High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with ability to work under pressure
EU work permit
Willing and able to travel with short notice if required
Skilled in MS office tools
Desired Characteristics:
Formal education in organic alt. analytical Chemistry
Chemistry service/application experience
Radiation trained, radiochemistry experience
GMP knowledge
Quality control knowledge
Radio synthesizer experience
Cyclotron service experience
Customer communication experience
