Radio Products Sweden 2 works with development of the 5G High Band Radio products, and we are now looking for a passionate and hardworking team mate to strengthen our capabilities.
We are responsible for integrating software and hardware modules into complete radio functions (RF). These are typically receiver automatic gain control (AGC), transmitter linearization (DPD), temperature and frequency compensations, antenna beam steering, timing, alarms, sensors and supervision.
Radio functions are tuned to secure functionality and performance of the complete Radio Product before handing over to our formal verification and certification teams.
The Product Integration team is involved in all phases of technology development from technical studies, to pre‐development and product development. Daily work involves tool development for lab automation, RF performance optimization using signal analyzer and signal generator, customer support and troubleshooting.
We work according to Lean Product Development where continuous improvement, learning and innovation is essential!
This role reports to Manager of Radio Product Integration and Algorithm.
You will
• Work in a multi-functional team and interact with system design, software development, mechanical design as well as board design and ASIC/FPGA design
• Drive the radio production test and calibration algorithm development and support our industrialization teams to implement these in Ericsson production environment
To be successful in the role you must have
• Master or Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Computer Science
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience
• Good understanding of Radio Systems and RF architectures
• Well acquaintance with instruments found in the RF/Radio Lab
• Knowledge in Matlab, Python or similar programming language
• Had previous exposure to embedded software development methodology like Agile or Scrum
• Deep knowledge in Digital Radio Algorithms and/or DFE architecture in order to balance the team. Perhaps from FPGA/ASIC development and verification or Radio System/Algorithm design. This is specifically an important knowledge for this position.
