Our Exciting Opportunity


Product Development Unit Radio (PDU Radio) strives to be the most competitive Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We develop and maintain competitive, high-quality Radio products which give our customers solutions securing future growth. We currently develop 5G, LTE, WCDMA and GSM, as well as CDMA solutions to operators all over the world.
Sweden 1 (SE1) is a unit with PDU Radio with the responsibility to bring next-generation radio platforms to the market. We are based in Stockholm (Kista) with operations also in Croatia. We are now looking for a SW developer with a passion for SW craftsmanship that can contribute to Ericsson’s 5G successes.
We emphasize teamwork, communication, and co-operation, and look for a strong team player with excellent communication skill that can contribute to the teams’ successes.


You will


• Work in a cross-functional team with responsibility from pre-study to release and customer acceptance for new functionality
• Develop control SW in C++ in a system architecture, involving several modules in both SW and HW
• Develop tests in Java and deploy them in the automated continuous integration system
• Create and evolve a modular SW architecture
• Learn the key technologies for the next generation radio systems
• Report to the Section Manager Radio SW


To be successful in the role you must have


• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or equivalent
• 3-5 years of meaningful work experience in SW development
• Experience in programming using object-oriented languages (C++) and Java
• Knowledge about radio communication
• Competence in Linux
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GIT, Eclipse
• Understanding of agile ways of working and continuous Integration.
• Willingness to broaden your competence and get a deeper understanding of our products
