Our Exciting Opportunity:

We are now looking for a Developer to maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.


You will
Drive the DC/DC power budget estimation of Ericsson Radio System products developed by Radio products in Sweden.
Be part of the product development project team and take the lead in the DC/DC power budget area.
Estimate and compute radio power consumption of all units within segment Remote Radio and Massive Radio.
Break down the power budget requirements, consider the impact of ETSI Traffic load models and channel conditions.
Work in Microsoft Excel and script tools.
Interact with various design groups across Ericsson using the power data in simulation and verifications, such as RF design, thermal design, power design and integration.
Drive power budget review meetings and involve in system lead meetings of each radio product.
Involve in energy efficiency technical analysis studies.
Drive improvements in the power area. Stay informed about industry practices and technical development in the power design area.



To be successful in the role you have
M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
Excellent skills in product power requirement break down
Experience in script language like Perl, Python etc.
Knowledge in Power design and RF Systems design
Good understanding in Radio architecture
Good understanding in Radio Access Technologies
Product development and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proven drive for results
