About this opportunity
The Product Performance section at PDU Radio System & Technology has the responsibility to define radio characteristics and performance requirements for new multi-standard radio products. This encompass driving concept studies and predevelopments within the Early Phase projects and defining radio performance requirements during project development phase and release.

As a system designer, you will be responsible to update and maintain the Requirements Specifications used for development of radio products. You will actively play a key role to the network evolution into 6G by driving technical implementation proposals on radio system level! In addition, you shall act as an interface towards Product Management.
What you will do
Drive technical studies within the multi-standard radio area for Remote Radio and AAS products.
Perform analysis of performance requirement setting for Remote Radio and AAS based radio products.
Responsible for participating in early studies of future radio products and evaluate performance impacts.
Be accountable for writing/updating Radio Requirement Specification in close partnership with radio development projects.
Support design activities during radio development.
Responsible for supporting the verification department regarding radio performance questions and issues.
Perform trouble shooting and customer support.
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.

You will bring
MSc in Wireless Communications, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field
Excellent English skills both verbally and in writing
Several years’ work experience from radio system design and/or development
Experience from RAN development is desirable
Strong analytical skills to be used in problem solving
The daily work requires good team collaboration skills
