Ready to step up and be an expert? We are strengthening our team with a RAMS Engineer who want to work with dependability performance for products above and below surface. Are you our future RAMS expert who can take a vague requirement and make it applicable?
Your role
We are looking for our "go to" person in these matters and you will have a very important role to play in our technology development in early stages. Your mission is to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations. We strive to improve our products to reach the longest possible service life and lowest maintenance needs, even under the most challenging conditions. To do this, you as a RAMS Engineer, will collaborate with a wide scale of technology specialists for our products as well as with customers and suppliers. You will have challenging tasks and at the same time an opportunity to create a broad network of contacts, providing insight into several areas such as mechanics, electronics, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, ship arrangement etc.
Main tasks:
* Perform reliability, availability and maintainability analysis
* Develop and direct the dependability requirements on the design
* Define the direction of the further work with maintenance analysis to support the selected maintenance concept
* Requirement analysis, calculation and offer evaluation
* Development of processes, methods and tools
Our team is based both in Karlskrona and Malmö. You have the possibility to choose from which of these centrally located and coastal offices, you prefer to work from. Some business trips will occur, mostly within Sweden but also abroad. You report to Head of Logistics Engineering Kockums.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a real interest in and enjoy the possibility to impact new products. Since the role includes a large degree of interaction and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you need to be able to build and develop long term relationships as well as being able to work with various kind of people at all levels. A humble communicative and service-minded approach as well as a pedagogical vein will come in hand. We often need to explain how technical aspects are connected to understand the whole. Analytical ability is a must.
Required skills:
* Master of Science in Engineering or equal in relevant area
* Minimum a few years of experience in RAMS-Engineering
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
Desired skills:
* Experience of working with development in complex technical environments
* Experience in RAMS Management
* Knowledge and experience in Swedish Armed Forces maintenance processes and systems
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
