Purpose of the job
In this role, you are key to optimizing sales and profitability by building a unique, relevant, affordable, and commercial offer for all Countries, Markets & customer meeting points. You co-create, collaborate, and learn in close cooperation across functions and cross companies, always with market relevance and customer in focus.
Capabilities
Experience in Sales, Business Management, or equivalent, where you have been working with commercial planning and cross-functional collaboration, with a preferable background in building a commercial offer.
Passion for retail (preferable home furnishing sector) and range, and your skills in planning, driving output, and measuring performance (business) are strong.
Goal-oriented team player, good at building relations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and make decisions with speed and simplicity
Good leadership capabilities including the ability to lead peers and stakeholders while communicating in an inspirational way with an IKEA tone of voice.
Ability to take a holistic view of a global organization and identify business opportunities accordingly.

Your responsibilities
• Responsible for the collaboration, execution, and development of range dimensioning year cycle. This includes learning solutions and ways of working within Ingka and cross companies, and its alignment to other core processes, such as sales and supply planning, pricing, and financial business planning for our complete commercial offer.
• Responsible for the follow-up and analysis of the performance of the IKEA range offered in Ingka countries, regions, clusters, and markets. Based on the analysis make suggestions towards Core Business Franchise and IKEA Range and Supply for future range building needs of the range structure. This includes the development and maintenance of the consumer clustering process.
• Close cooperation with INGKA Market Input Leaders and Core Area Managers to secure fact & data-based Market inputs towards CBR on a functional/regional level
• Lead the competence development for building a commercial offer in all markets and secure there is relevant mentoring and support in place throughout the year cycle
• Business owner Responsible for the range selection tool in terms of user competence, following up results, and the development of the tool going forward to all customer meeting points. Secure that data quality is maintained by Consumer Insight and Digital and a year cycle is agreed.
• Responsible for the in-depth analysis of the running range performance to enable the range selection and dimensioning processes for the fiscal years ahead (+ 1 to 3 years scope)
• Lead and/or contribute to the development of new tools, templates, learning solutions, and ways of working in strong cooperation with IKEA Range and Supply and Core Business Franchise
• Contribute to the Ingka Commercial Offer Strategy on a regional/ country level and be responsible for the action plan in line with this strategy within the area of Range Selection.
• Provide and share expertise on range dimensioning, range allocation, and range accessibility in a clear and inspiring way to enable constant improvement and learning between markets and INGKA stakeholders (CFF, CPH & BN)
• Matrix to Sales & Supply planning due different range building on country level
• Matrix to CHP for the range selection for new Markets/CMP’s
• Responsible for the Commercial part of the Range Management process in the area of Range Building, Range Allocation, and Range Accessibility in close cooperation with CFF.
• Responsible together with Core Area Leaders for the Range Management on the Global/ Country level in close cooperation with the CBR/CBS stakeholders.
• Responsible to establish, develop and maintain ways of working to secure the right set of DATA insights for the Range Management and Range selection process.
Key previous experience and skills for the job:
• Formal qualifications in Sales, Business Management, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working with Sales, Commercial Planning and Cross-Functional collaboration
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building a commercial offer
• Minimum 5 years of experience in influencing co-workers Experience in retail, preferably the home furnishing sector
• Experience in planning, driving output, and measuring performance (business)
• Affinity with Digital Development and tool creation
