Range & Product Design Manager - IKEA Home smart

To succeed, we look for new ways of integrating technology and digital solutions into home furnishing and life at home. We explore opportunities throughout the home, and we work closely with other Business Areas to both drive transformation of the existing range and develop new smart products and solution to attract new customers to IKEA. We’re still at the beginning–there is lots more to be done. 

Right now, we are looking for a Range & Product Design manager for our Business Area – someone who knows value driven leadership inside out, together with range strategy and development. Someone who is passionate about leading business and people and has a good understanding of the smart home.  As our Range & Product Design Manager, you are in center of our business and our product development, taking part in creating what IKEA is about: our product range. Together with the team of Range Design Leaders and Product Owners you will translate IKEA strategies into a range plan and the development of physical and digital solutions. Creating IKEA range requires a holistic strategic capability plus an eye for the details, as well as creativity and a thorough understanding of people’s life at home and their different needs.

Visualise, communicate and clarify the strategic range movements and direction.
Lead the creation of the range plan and building of the complete range and product offer for IKEA Home smart involving the Range and Product team, value stream teams and feature teams
Lead the execution and implementation of range development and product development, both physical products and digital solutions
Secure the IKEA unique identity, Democratic Design and commerciality on the Business Area range and products
Lead a fantastic and high enthusiastic team of Product Owners and Range Design Leaders to perform and deliver to the BA and IKEA range & product plan, by creating preconditions for successful implementation of our Home smart range movements
Create strong and trustful networks and relationships in collaborative processes
Together with all BA Range and Product Design Managers create ONE IKEA range and product plan identifying long term strategic range movements and secure implementation across IKEA.
