To be successful in this role you need experience of working with food and qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or equivalent. In addition, you need experience of working with food health, sustainability work, product development and range management, preferable with food. Moreover, you have a proven record of successful business development and performance and the ability to priorities and organize work and the work of others, to make the most efficient use of time.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• IKEA Concept, Vision and Business idea, Culture and Values, IKEA business Model and IKEA leadership
• IKEA Food business
• IKEA Food product development process
• food health and nutrition
• how to initiate, plan, execute, control and close cross functional projects
• market environment, expectations from the customers today and tomorrow
In addition, you demonstrate IKEA leadership skills and the ability to navigate and lead in a complex, unknown and fast changing environment. You possess the qualities to communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way and you have a collaborative mind-set which you use to build trustful relationships. Moreover, you have extensive analytical skills and understand how to use facts to promote progress and change. Finally, you are sensitive to new trends and know how to apply industry trends, outlooks, and emerging trends.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will support the markets to drive food growth by ensuring a relevant, vital, efficient, cost competitive and compliant food range and supply for customers and co-workers with a large focus on the Coworker range. You will support to drive food growth, improve profit and brand position by 100% compliant food range. It will be important to create an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered.
You will:
• have a close dialogue with the Ingka markets on the coworker range and its development
• have a close cooperation with the operations team in Ingka CoE in order to optimize the coworker food business
• secure food range management and range information quality in food business solutions, act on deviations and initiate improvements
• secure food offer meets IKEA health & sustainability standards and commitments, act on deviations and initiative improvements
• integrate food trends and knowledge about nutrition and health with food offer development, food value chain and food learning solutions
• provide ways of working and tools for balanced meal norm and nutrition profile
• act as a subject matter expert to provide food range expertise to markets and other stakeholders
• contribute to knowledge transfer and information sharing to, as well as between, the markets
• identify competence need in partnership with Food CoE
• act as a subject matter expert when developing learning solutions together with People & Culture
In this role you will report to the Food Range and Supply Manager. This role is located in Hubhult, Malmö.
