Raw material production manager

We are looking for a Raw material production manager to join our dedicated production team for women´s and men´s collections. As Raw material production manager, you will be responsible for all fabric and trim information, from production order placement to ensuring quality level, and for follow up on deliveries. This role requires a problem solving and proactive approach. The position works closely with the team of garment production and raw material development.
The work environment at Acne Studios is fast-paced and energetic; no day is ever the same. You will be based at Acne Studios Headquarters in Stockholm.
Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
Lead the process of bulk production of raw materials for woven and denim categories from order placement to on-time delivery
Lead and develop the raw material production team
Analyze production lead time and define pre-booking needs with production controllers and production manager
Work closely with the fabric development and quality team on analysis of raw materials from prototyping to sampling stages
Negotiate material and production costs with vendors/mills
Ongoing assessment of existing supplier base with fabric development
Ensure accurate production related material data input and continuous updates in the PLM system
Maintain strong collaboration with vendors including on-site visits when necessary



Qualifications:
Academic degree, from business school and/or textile education
Minimum 5 years’ experience in raw material production/development role preferably from high-end fashion brands
Management experience
Highly proficient in MS Office applications - particularly Excel
Excellent language skills. Fluency in English is a requirement. Italian is meriting
Good knowledge of quality and production processes
