Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Supply Specialist to join our passionate Raw Materials Sourcing team in Stockholm, focusing on the coordination, planning and logistics of Cathode Raw Materials such as Lithium, Nickel, Cobalt and Manganese.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start, building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play a significant role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
As a Supply Specialist you will ensure the coordination between our suppliers and our in-house Logistics and Planning teams to ensure smooth delivery and administration of our raw materials to our plants.
Together with your team and cross functional colleagues (Internal Logistics, Planning, Finance, Quality, Process and buyers) you will partake in coordinating all physical raw materials shipments as well as managing the operational relationship with Northvolt raw materials suppliers.
It is critical that you share Northvolt values in terms of sustainability.
You have experience in working operationally with shipping, transport, and warehousing. You are familiar with the administrative side of the logistical process, documentation required to dispatch and clear customs, including dangerous goods, and invoicing.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Align with raw materials Sourcing buyers, production, demand planners and warehouse personnel to ensure raw materials are delivered smoothly, on time and at the right location
Execute contracts and manage suppliers relationship
Track and manage stock levels according to needs and specifications
Reporting forecasts to suppliers, determining supplier allocation
Work with internal stakeholders to find innovative solutions to optimise Northvolt raw materials flows
Education/Experience
Bachelor, Master’s degree, vocational education in supply chain or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a supply chain/logistics/transportation specialist
Proven track record of managing large material flows in an international environment, ideally in raw materials or commodities
Skills & Requirements
Specific Skills/Abilities:
Excellent English skills, written and oral. Swedish/Chinese/Korean/Japanese/French is a plus.
Good knowledge of systems: ERP, Power BI, MS Office.
Problem solving attitude, high organisation skills and attention to details
