R&D Associate Project Manager

In this position, you will be able to influence the technical development of large Motors, Generators and rotating Synchronous Condensers and by this contribute to the transformation of the industry for a more sustainable future.
Reporting to the Manager of R&D project department, you will contribute creative ideas to R&D projects, as well as proposing follow-up projects and activities based on new ideas.
At R&D project department you will be responsible for various type of development projects. Typical project targets are:
- Improving product performance
- Developing new features in line with market demands
- Redesigning for material optimization, cost effectiveness sustainability
- Designing for manufacturing and assembly to simplify production internally and externally
To your help you have well experienced colleagues with different skills, such as mechanical engineering, mechanical strength calculations and electrical design.
To succeed in your work, it is also necessary to involve expertise from other functions, i.e. supply chain, production and after sales among others.
Your responsibilities
Responsible of R&D project, including planning follow-up and execution
Leading and inspiring project team to collaborate and achieve the best results
Control and monitor project objectives
Actively manage risks and opportunities
Report project status and achievements both to internal and global management

Your background
You hold a university degree within relevant field
You are experienced in project management or development in industrial area
A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
Knowledge of work towards standards and regulations for heavy industries
Fluency in both English and Swedish
