As part of our Strategic Research organization, the unit provides expert support to all of our divisions, Tube, Striptech and Kanthal. We generate high-quality testing-results, develop new and existing testing methods, and participate in cutting-edge research development projects, all to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.

Your Role
As a R&D Corrosion Technician, your main responsibility includes:
- Planning and executing corrosion tests following strictly our internal procedures.
- Documenting and reporting of test results in a highly meticulous manner.
- Maintaining facilities in corrosion laboratory, e.g., testing baths, heaters, laboratory glassware, inventory of chemicals.
- Preparing sample for testing, i.e., wet grinding.
About You
This role requires mainly hands-on task in a Corrosion Laboratory. To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of high school education. Experience working with chemicals, e.g., sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, sodium hydroxide, is a merit.
You are keen on working with safety and deliver with high quality. You are self-motivated, meticulous, curious, effective with both short - and long - term planning. You have good knowledge on MS-office, e.g., word, excel. Furthermore, you are eager and willing to learn and develop new skills as needed. You have interest in lifelong learning since method development and continuous improvement are the key success factors for Corrosion Research Unit. With a service - oriented perspective and as a true team player, you are naturally good at interact and collaborate with others but can also carry out the work independently. Since agility and flexibility is one of the key success factors in our lab, you are willing to learn various methods and can step in to help others when needed.
As we interact in a global environment, we expect you to have communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
