R&D Design Engineer to MedTech market leader in Hörby/Malmö

Are you passionate about new product development? Do you want to make a difference for people breathing, speaking and living through a stoma?

We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic Design Engineer with a great commitment to deliver on ambitious targets with short time-to-market for development efforts. You will be a key player in projects within new product development and improvements of current products. You will be contributing to all aspects of product development from defining of user needs to the final CE-marked product, launch and market feedback.

 

Main job responsibilities


• Participate in generating design requirements, prototyping and design implementation.
• Contribute to the collection, analysis and understanding of user- and business needs
• Translate user needs to new products
• Design verification and validation including Design of Experiments and development of test methods
• Cooperate with Production engineers to design for volume production
• Investigate and implement the use of new materials and technologies
• Responsible for generating test requirement matrices and procedures to verify the outputs.
• Apply human factor / usability and design validation process.
• Active member of a cross-functional team, engaging in meetings to review design, manufacturing procedures or quality related issues.
• Participate in risk management analysis and documentation.

 

Your qualifications & competencies


• You are a design engineer with some years of experiences within mechanical engineering or industrial design
• You are an Innovative but structured problem solver with the skill to translate user needs into real products You like to work in teams: At Atos - product development happens in cross functional teams
• You are skilled in CAD – at Atos we use Solid Works
• Experience from medical device development is an advantage, however, commitment and enthusiasm are more important.
