Wound Care R&D is exited to introduce an innovative working model designed to foster continuous learning, support career development, and boost organizational flexibility and efficiency. Our dynamic Internal R&D Partner Team offers flexible R&D Development and Laboratory roles of different levels, covering short-term vacancies, backfill openings, and Business Support Project needs. This initiative is designed to create new opportunities for job rotation and professional growth across the organization. The team will grow into a mix of approximately 10-12 R&D Developers and Laboratory Engineers, everyone with the purpose to partner with relevant Wound Care R&D teams as needed.
As a R&D Developer in the Internal R&D Partners team, there is great opportunity and variety in activity day to day as you will serve as internal consultant/partner in different development teams, working with development of both solutions, products, materials and packaging. This means that you will focus on different areas and be active in a broader technical setting. The purpose of the role is to support development within the R&D department by serving as an internal consultant/partner. This role focuses on supporting the development and implementation of new products, materials, and packaging solutions. Additionally, the position involves leading design changes for existing products and ensuring that designated technical documentation complies with relevant standards and regulations.
What you’ll do
Lead the development of new or enhanced wound care dressings and solutions.
Develop and enhance product, material, and packaging solutions to meet market needs.
Ensure compliance with Quality Management System standards for technical documentation.
Collaborate with internal partners and suppliers to secure material/packaging supply.
Support continuous improvement by implementing new and improved ways of working.

What you’ll need
Good technical knowledge in either medical devices (preferred), material or packaging.
Knowledge of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards, preferably related to medical device.
Deep knowledge in Design control and working in a PLM system
Good communication skills and fluent in English, written and spoken
General business acumen
5 years' experience within product/material/packaging development
Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, life science or equivalent
