You will contribute significantly to successful project results in technology and/or product development by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions. You will contribute to creative ideas in R&D projects, as well as propose follow-up projects and activities based on new ideas.
Parts of the role will be to provide consulting services to internal and external customers on technical challenges within your own area of expertise and also identify and mitigate risks in R&D projects and consulting projects. You will use your knowledge within electrical, physical, thermodynamic and modelling to define and predict material and components behaviour under specific external electrical and thermal stresses.
It is a role with varying tasks where you will need a problem-solving and consultative approach. You will be working with, among other things,
• Modelling and Simulation of dielectric, electrical field distribution, thermodynamic and mass transport phenomena in materials. Your contribution will be key to allow future design of High Voltage and Medium Voltage products.
• Increase comprehension of electrical phenomena in insulation systems, both theoretically and experimentally.
• Validate experimentally electro-thermal models through suggestion of key experiments to be performed together with team members.
• Be the technical leader in projects aiming to reach high satisfaction for both internal or external customers.
