The paper industry is in the middle of a digital transformation. The R&D team at Valmet Tissue Technology Center in Karlstad is looking for more colleagues to help us with the digital transformation of our machines and or processes.
We are looking for mechatronic, automation or electronical engineers that enjoy working with complex processes and finding new opportunities where different types of sensors can be applied to piece by piece automate the machines and the processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Master’s degree in mechatronic, automation or electronical engineering.
A technical interest.
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
If you have a few years of experience from a similar position, it is considered an advantage. MATLAB and/or Python skills are also desirable, but not required.
As a person, we wish that you are a great team player! Although, you also have the ability to work independently when needed. You are curious, humble and always want to keep learning and develop your skills further.
