R&D Engineer, Energy Storage Systems, with a challenging mindset

The challenge: As an R&D engineer in the energy storage field we expect you to have the ability to follow the trends and the development of the area. Suitable background is a Ph.D. in power electronics, with emphasis on energy storage systems and applications. You also need the ability to challenge existing designs and engineering practices in the energy storage systems and power electronics topologies with energy storage capability. Experience from modeling of the different energy storage devices, i.e. batteries and/or supercapacitors is required. System interactions and system integration is favourable. Previous experience of control, modelling and modulation of the energy storage system including the power electronics converter and the grid are of importance - as is a good understanding of HVDC and FACTS applications.

Qualifications: You need a Ph.D. or similar working experience in the fields of Power Electronics. Fluency in English, excellent communication skills and high capacity for multi tasking are essential. And you must have the potential to be a good project leader.
