R&D Engineer - Product owner

You will be part of our R&D team in Hitachi Energy. Our cross-functional SAFe/Agile teams are developing End-to-End embedded solutions including software, hardware, and FPGA in close collaboration with the global organization. Now we are looking for enthusiasts who would like to strengthen and lead our I/O domain.
As the product owner for I/O domain, you will be responsible for defining the backlog for the SAFe Agile team for I/O domain by constant communication and negotiation with our different stakeholders. You will lead and guide the team in solving challenges using your technical background as well as decision making skills.
We have a diverse team. You will be leading a multidisciplinary (software, hardware, FPGA, and verification engineers) team to develop and maintain our I/O domain.
Your responsibilities
As a Product Owner for the I/O domain at MACH Department within HVDC, your team will be involved in development and maintenance of wide range of embedded systems (ARM, DSP, SoC...), from pre-study and design to tests and integration.
You will be responsible for defining and developing backlog (epic, features, user stories) for your domain according to SAFe best practices and guidelines.
Align the team and commit them to PI objectives and make sure your deliveries are on time with expected quality.
You will develop knowledge and expertise in the domain and thereby define the vision and roadmap for your domain.
You will be responsible for management of stakeholders and their expectations while aligning product roadmap to strategic goals.
Take decisions and support the team in solving challenges.

Your background
Master’s (or 5 years Bachelors) in Computer science/engineering, Electrical/Electronics engineering.
Expert in C, Embedded C, C++ and C# programming languages.
It is meritorious if you can understand the mechanical drawings and electrical schematics of the I/O boards, as well as have basic knowledge of assembly language and VHDL. As the product owner of the I/O team you will be responsible for creating features that are multidisciplinary in nature.
You must be proficient in English language (speaking and writing)
You are expected to have knowledge in: Agile product owner responsibilities, Azure Devops, Git, Visual studio, embedded systems and electronics.
It is meritorious if you have an embedded software development background, and understanding of EtherCAT, CAN, RTOS, real time programming and bus protocols.
It is advantageous if you already have experience and knowledge about the MACH platform and Hidraw tool.
You are expected to be a problem solver with good communication and time management skills.
