You will be part of the Technology & Solutions Development within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. We are searching for senior data analysts who can drive innovation and solution development in HVDC Digital Analytics Team. The goal is to contribute to the development of a Power System Digital Twin to reduce system level risk by building predictive maintenance models for Hitachi Energy’s product offerings (HVDC, FACTS, AC Substation etc.).
As a data analyst you will be part of an agile team that applies digital, data-driven techniques and tools to create new values for the operation and lifecycle management of PGGI grid stations (HVDC, FACTS, AC Substation). In this role you will work across teams within the organization and with product management to establish digital business needs and priorities.
Your responsibilities
Responsibility as Release Train Engineer (RTE):
Facilitate the events and processes in the Release Train (e.g., PI planning activities and meetings, Pulse meetings, cross-team alignment)
Manage impediments, risks, and dependencies of the train between planning sessions and support escalations if needed
Define and maintain the DevOps and iObeya environment together with the Digital R&D core team and define standard practices
Facilitate system demos together with the teams
Analyze existing practices and technologies to identify areas for improvement or enhancement
Participate in cross train alignment with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) based development teams within Grid Integration
Responsibility as IT Architect:
Support the Chief Solutions Architect (CSA) in identifying new technologies and Proof of Concepts (PoC) and add those as items on the Digital R&D roadmap
Contribute to the building of the strategic Digital R&D roadmap
Actively drive innovation, usage of new technologies and digital solutions relative to the Analytics team
Provide technology strategies for implementation of output from the Analytics team
Together with the other architects define and describe the architecture for the solutions related to the Analytics team as part of the complete GI Digital solutions portfolio
Actively contribute to implementation of Analytics results
Your background
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
2-5 years of proven experience on software IT architecture design, end to end coding and RTE in SAFe development team
Experience of SW modularization techniques like Dockers
Sound knowledge in various IT Areas like cloud development and integration of information systems
Experience in programming (like Python, SQL, C# and/or C++)
You have a strong interest in new innovative technology and like to combine it with existing solutions
Power Systems and especially Control & Protection (including MACH) knowledge is a plus
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written is required, knowledge in Swedish language is a plus
