R&D Expert - Powder Compaction

About the job
In this position, you actively support the overall business mission for Sandvik Coromant, by advancing our knowledge in powder compaction, leading cross functional development and delivering process technology supporting our product and technology plan. You work in close cooperation with production technology as well as with our process engineering group securing state-of-the-art compaction technology. As our senior expert, you make sure others grow and expand their own capabilities by sharing your expertise, developing efficient practices and improving our ways of working. As our company’s leading authority in compaction technology this position includes developing and knowledge communication regarding compaction technology and enabling our future success in this area.
The location for this position is Västberga.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a university degree from a relevant field and an extensive experience of powder compaction technology from R&D and/or production. Complementing this, you have broad theoretical and practical knowledge of process development, and you have a proven track-record of innovation and development. As we’re a global organization, you speak and write English fluently.
