R&D Hardware development engineer

Randstad Technologies is now looking for an experienced hardware development engineer that would like to start a long term consulting assignment at a successful company in Västerås that has a strong focus on sustainability.

Responsibilities
To analyze product requirements, break them down and specify them to meet customer’s expectations of high quality and safety
To capture these requirements in specifications while leaving freedom for optimization to the hardware suppliers 
Develop new hardware modules together with partners, technical requirement, hardware design, design review, testing, verification, validation and documentation 
Lead or contribute to hardware systems integration, EMC, electrical safety and type test, and new product introduction activities 
Maintain exciting hardware modules 
Lead or contribute to hardware development projects within an international, matrix organization 
Contribute to continuous improvement of the companies way of working 


Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in electrical/ electronics or equivalent 
+3 years of experience in hardware development, preferably with agile and lean methodologies 
Expertise in at least on hardware specific discipline, as e.g., analog design, EMC, electrical safety etc 
Hands-on experience with electronics measurement, EMC, testing and debugging
Fluent skills in english, both in written and spoken 


If you have previous experience managing suppliers that will be considered meritorious.
