R&D Junior Project Manager

You will be part of Process Control Platform (PCP) which is a unit within ABB Business Area Process Automation. PCP develops automation products - hardware and software - for monitoring, process control and optimization. We have automation products for all kind of industries. Digitalization gives unique opportunities to keep data from manufacturing together with other information systems within the company and make the information available in real time.

This position reports to R&D Team Manager.
Your responsibilities
Leading projects with limited complexity, e.g. maintenance projects, test projects or sub-projects as part of more complex projects. The purposes of these projects are development and maintenance of controller FW within the System 800xA
You will be responsible for planning, following up and managing all aspects of these projects
Project planning based on technical, cost and time requirements
Monitoring projects to ensure best practices in cost control and resource efficiency
Analyzing and addressing project risks, and regularly disseminating lessons learned
Interacting and coordinating with stakeholders and other projects
Achieving project deliverables and compliance with technical, cost and time requirements
Starting as a Junior Project Manager you will both grow and develop your project manager skills. This role will give you great opportunity to over time, take on more complex projects or other roles within our R&D organization.

Your background
Master of Science in Computer Science or similar
4-8 years of work experience of SW and product development
1-2 years’ experience as team lead, scrum master or project manager
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
