About the position
As our R&D Manager, your responsibility is to keep our current portfolio up to speed along with executing new product development projects. This is a truly strategic role where you will set the tone, the pace, and the expectations. You will also act as a true inspiration for the global team to go to the next level!
Our product development projects are often large in time and monetary terms and the complexity of the projects are extensive on a technical level, as well as on a managerial level. This requires dialogue and close co-operation with product owners, marketing, customers and operating units to ensure that FlexLink offers development is optimized.
In short, your main responsibilities are:
Member of steering committee for new development projects
Trend analysis within geography, technology, and segments
Team management
Change management
Internal communication

You will be based in our HQ in Gothenburg and you will be reporting to the Head of Technology and Innovation.
 
This is you
To be successful in your new role, we believe that you have a solid mechanical engineering background with extensive mechatronic product development experience. As a person, you are energetic, outgoing, engaging and an inspiring source to your team. You also have:
Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, automation or mechatronics
Experience in working in product logistics technology
Change management experience
Team management experience
