Wound Care R&D is exited to introduce an innovative working model designed to foster continuous learning, support career development, and boost organizational flexibility and efficiency. Our dynamic Internal R&D Partner Team offers flexible R&D Development and Laboratory roles of different levels, covering short-term vacancies, backfill openings, and Business Support Project needs. This initiative is designed to create new opportunities for job rotation and professional growth across the organization. You will be leading the team that will grow into a mix of approximately 10-12 persons holding flexible Development and Laboratory positions, everyone with the purpose to partner with relevant Wound Care R&D teams as needed.
As the R&D Manager Internal R&D Partners team, there is great opportunity and variety in activity day to day as you will be working with the entire R&D organisation in Mölnlycke Wound Care. The purpose of the role is to direct and manage a team of internal consultants in development and laboratory positions to ensure smooth integration and support to the R&D organisation during temporary leaves and high workloads. Additionally, the position is responsible for overseeing the onboarding process for new employees and consultants in development roles within R&D, creating a supportive and productive environment that enhances the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
What you’ll do
Lead and develop the R&D team in own organization with a focus on delivering expected outcomes in line with MHC leadership culture, values, and principles.
Lead, manage and coordinate the requests of internal consultants to ensure optimal value for the organisation.
Lead the coordination within R&D of external collaborations with consultancy partners.
Advise and coach team members to secure a smooth transition when undertaking new projects and activities.
Plan, implement and maintain an introduction program ensuring a seamless onboarding process of new developers within Wound Care R&D.
Be a member of the Extended R&D Leadership Team

What you’ll need
Leadership skills, experience from working in cross-functional teams
Deep knowledge of relevant R&D processes, especially Design control, product Lifecycle Management Process and regulatory environment with respect to medical devices or other highly regulated business.
Great communication and networking skills
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Minimum 3 years’ experience from leading Research and Development activities in medical device or other highly regulated business
