About the role 
We are looking for an R&D Manager for our offer regarding indoor climate management, who wants to be involved in consolidating our market-leading position in the Nordic region and further develop our offer for increased sales in the rest of Europe. As R&D Manager in the product segment, you will work both strategically and operationally to develop our offer in close collaboration with product managers, system developers and our factory units. You will drive and coordinate our R&D for Room Management Systems (RMS).

The role includes personnel responsibilities for a software development team, a group of five people. Together with your team, you are expected to generate ideas and be able to transform customer needs into the development of functions, system solutions and services.

Location of this position is preferably in the southwestern part of Sweden. Can advantageously be located close to our production sites in Kvänum, Arvika or Tomelilla or at our head office in Gothenburg. 

Your profile 
The work requires power of initiative and self-management. Since you will lead the development of our room control package and coordinate to find the best solutions to meet the customer needs, you have great collaborating skills and leadership qualities. Further, you are able to compromise between time to market, effectiveness and working in a structured way, successfully. A strong market and customer-oriented approach is a must in order to succeed in this role.

As you will have international contacts at work, both internally and externally, it is required that you master the English language in both speech and writing. It is highly meritorious if you speak Swedish. Travels will be required in the role, mainly within Sweden, but international travel may occur.

We believe that you have an engineering degree, preferably in Information technology, Electronics, Energy and Environment or equivalent. You have several years of work experience in a similar role and a solid interest in technology and innovation. Knowledge within HVAC, software development (any) and IoT is an advantage.
