Irisity delivers the next generation security solutions on an international scale with the goal of becoming the global leader in video analytics. After the acquisition of the company Agent Vi, who develops algorithms for IP-cameras, Irisity has strengthened its position even more.

The R&D Manager will have overall staff responsibility for the entire Swedish R&D department, consisting of about 20 developers (and growing). This will include mentoring team leads and more junior managers, representing the Swedish side in finding the right multi-site R&D structure and suitable team sub-divisions. It also includes taking a lead in recruitment and salary setting.

Furthermore, the R&D Manager will be in close collaboration with the Israeli office to ensure the right synergies and conditions are created.

To succeed in this role you will need a deep technical knowledge in regards to programming and great leadership skills. You will set up goals and drive through the necessary changes to achieve them.

In this recruitment process your personal traits are of high importance. We are looking for someone who is open minded, prestigeless, structured and a team-player.

Moreover, you have at least five years of experience working with:

- Linux
- Cloud technologies
- Agile methodologies
- Leading both small and big development teams


It is meritorious if you have experience working with:

- IT-security solutions
