The position as R&D Manager gives you the opportunity to lead the team of telecom experts including project managers and other skilled team members in our international organization where using innovative technology to help seniors is our core business.

You will work from our bright, spacious office close to the Central Station in Malmö with many places to go for lunch, close to shopping and gyms. However, during the pandemic, we mostly work from home and do most of our meetings over Teams.



About the position

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Lead, motivate and develop the team members.
- Build a strong collaboration with key stakeholders, including colleagues, suppliers and customers.
- In close cooperation with Category Management define our products and be one of the keys to our ability to deliver quality products on time.
- Responsible for planning and prioritizing the projects within the team.
- Secure and develop needed competence within the team, including different technologies, hardware, software, requirements etc.
- Work hands-on in projects and be ready to even temporary take the role of team member when needed.
- Always challenge the process and suggest improvements.
- Work both with mobile phones and with new innovative areas.




Are you the one?

In this role, it is important that you have excellent communication skills and enjoy building both internal and external relationships.

The position requires a long experience working in a technical environment, eg as a project manager, line manager or similar. You also have at least 3 years of experience with managing people, resources and budgets. The perfect candidate has a combination of several or all of the below skills:

- Fluent in English and Swedish
- A natural leader that cares about people
- A passion for technology and telecommunications
- Great time management skills as well as result oriented
- Ability to understand the big picture
- Financial skills, ability to set and follow up on the budget
- Experience in mobile phone projects and other electronic projects (please list details in application/CV)
