You will be part of Hitachi Energy’s Cooling Systems business unit in Landskrona. We have global responsibility for the development and manufacture of cooling systems for Power Electronic applications and other applications that require cooling systems with high reliability and availability. Our cooling systems contribute to a safe and reliable operation where the customer and the environment are in focus. We are expanding in EV-charging cooling and the demand from the EV market is booming.

Cooling Systems in Landskrona is a market-leading supplier with customers all over the world.
We are now looking for two R&D Mechanical Engineers to join our growing development team. You will work with development of our EV-charging cooling products. Join our development team consisting of four engineers that have the responsibility for develop products ranging from large HVDC applications to small EV cooling systems.
Your responsibilities
Develop new and upgrade existing products together with our internal and external customers
Work with improvement of the product assembly line in close collaboration with our EV production team
Supplier contact, find and develop components for the product in cooperation with suppliers and our EV Category Manager
Participate in testing related to EV cooling systems
Be a team player in the EV team, communicate and share your knowledge
Your background
We are looking for a person with an academic degree in Engineering or several years of experience within mechanical engineering
A couple of years of development experience is preferred
As a person you like to be analytical and accurate, you have good communication skills and the wish to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
You are a curious person who challenges yourself and the organization for continuous development in both short and long term
Experience from working with assembly lines and serial production is beneficial
Swedish and English is needed, both written and spoken, to be able to interact with both local and global stakeholders
