We are looking for a R&D Project Manager with great interpersonal skills to lead new product development projects at ABB Robotics. The projects run from pre-study to serial production - with focus mainly on manipulator (robot arm) development. You will work with critical stakeholders to define the project scope. Your focus will be to lead, inspire and support the senior and experienced cross-functional team to achieve the project goals. You will secure good collaboration and remove roadblocks to enable best possible deliveries. Together with the cross-functional team you will set-up and follow-up the plan for the project. You will work with securing successful delivery of platform-based projects in aspects of features, quality, cost and time. A close collaboration with engineering specialists, design leads, program managers, product managers, production engineers, supply chain managers and many other different functions is crucial for your success.

When it comes to the technical parts, maybe you don’t have the deep technical knowledge within Robot systems that our experts have, but you have a technical background and experience from technical companies and experience from industrialization. Due to international communication English is mandatory, Swedish is qualifying.

Your background
Project Management experience of minimum 2 years
Experience from industrialization
Ability to zoom out and look at big picture
Fluency in English - written and spoken
Experience from global environment is an advantage but not required
Experience from platform-based development is an advantage but not required.
