Your profile
* You have Engineering or Project Management knowledge and experience
* You are MSc or BSc within Engineering
* You have a strong technical interest
* You have good leadership and communication skills
* You are solution oriented with a strong strive to achieve defined project targets
* Good English language skills are required
* Swedish language skills will be an asset

Your responsibilities

As an R&D project manager you have the responsibility to start-up, complete and finish R&D projects timely, deliver according to agreed scope, to the right quality and cost.

You will have a close collaboration with the R&D Project Management Office and be a part of the R&D Project Management community. In your daily work you will work closely with other departments such as Procurement, Manufacturing, Service and Customer Order Engineering.

This work includes but is not limited to:
* Run medium sized PDP projects as project manager
* Project team building
* Project time and milestone management
* Project resource and cost management
* Project scope management
* Project/product quality assurance and risk management
* Project team member communication and reporting

You will be part of a hardworking, positive, and diverse team consisting of highly skilled project managers and Senior Key Experts within design, aerodynamics and mechanical integrity.

The R&D Compressor department are responsible for research, development and sustaining of the IGT R&D Compressor and Heat Pumps.

The mission for Research and Development is to plan and complete projects according to the Product Development Process to fulfil the future roadmap of our products. We are the engine in developing new technologies to ensure business opportunities in the future.

Our responsibility is to share our product and technical knowledge with other business functions to ensure success together with our internal customer such as:
* Specialist and knowledge support to sales, customer order engineering, procurement and manufacturing.
* Leading and solving technical issues related to our products and components.
* Supporting service with operational topics and development of service-related products
