High Voltage Breakers is a business unit within Hitachi Energy located in Ludvika, Sweden. The unit has worldwide responsibility for the development, production, and sale of Hitachi Energy high voltage breakers for both AC and DC power systems. High voltage breakers are essential part of reliable and energy efficient power systems.
The Swedish LTB Technology Center is development team of about 30 people, leading the transformation of HV Live Tank Breaking technologies and products towards a green future. We are proud to be a development team which is close to the end user of our products by meeting and carefully considering their feedback to develop and improve.
Our Technology center is multicultural and very diverse team, but with one strong common driver for all, to empower society to develop towards a better and greener future, by doing what we know best, develop HV breakers.
Your responsibilities
Lead a diverse and multidisciplinary team on finding and executing technical solutions, including their implementation in the production units
Ensure alignment of all stakeholders in the definition of project targets, deliverables, and deadlines
Take good care of assigned projects budget
Keep all stakeholders updated about the status of the assigned project, by means of regular and comprehensive reporting
Contribute with own ideas and views on how to continuously improve at all levels
Inspire your team to achieve any challenges may come up
Your background
You enjoy engaging multidisciplinary discussions with others. You tend to take a problem-solving view, finding and putting in value the points in common
You feel comfortable and find value in communicating your and other’s achievements at any level (management, customers, and peers)
You understand the importance of good planning, definition of deadlines, and properly documenting decisions and events
You are a motivated person and want to be part of the green transformation of the society
Probably you hold a university degree of a technical nature
You preferably have experience on one, or more, of the following fields within electric industry (product development, project management, R&D, technical support, sales, or other relevant areas)
English is a required, while you will find Swedish handy, but not essential
