Engineering and delivering mechanical, electrical and automation solutions from device to monitoring and control help our customers get more out of their investment; digitalization solutions including collaborative operations and performance optimization services help to improve plant and enterprise productivity, reduce maintenance and energy costs.
We are now looking for an R&D Project Manager with User Experience skills. Join us and be part of an innovative and positive team that is shaping the future of mine hoisting. This position reports to GPG Technology Manager IAPI Mining.
Your responsibilities
Developing or creating products, systems, services, or technologies for ABB Mine Hoist by leading the end-to-end execution of several R&D projects to achieve associated milestones, targets, and desired outcomes.
Coordinating the work of a global and cross-functional project team.
Partnering with business managers, steering groups, product management and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure execution alignment, predictability and to optimize value delivery.
Part time work hands-on as User Experience Designer.
Idependently conducting UX and UI work covering the full design process from user research to guiding developers in implementing the user tested pixel perfect design.

Your background
University degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years' experience as a User Experience Designer.
Experience in leading a smaller R&D project or a sub-set of a bigger R&D Project.
Experience from working in the industry, and preferably the mining industry is meriting.
Experience of leading other people, stakeholder management and being part of an agile framework or project is preferred.
Fluency in English, written and spoken alike.
Customer-oriented person with a passion for shaping the future through technology and users centricity.
You are proactive, a good communicator and focus on opportunities. You can both see the bigger picture as well as pay attention to details to ensure both innovation and quality in what you and colleagues develop.
As a true team player, you are good at collaboration both with other colleagues in the team and with internal and external stakeholders.
