You will be part of the Technology & Solutions Development within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. As a data analyst you will be part of an agile team that applies digital, data-driven techniques and tools to create new values for the operation and lifecycle management of PGGI grid stations (HVDC, FACTS, AC Substation). In the senior role you will work across teams within the organization and with product management to establish digital business needs and priorities.
Your responsibilities
Develop new analytics algorithms and functions for Grid Integration organization
Contribute with a strong problem-solving mindset and endurance to deliver and document high-quality technical solutions
Define the data collection and analysis processes needed to implement the methodology
As senior you will work closely with the chief solution architect to define a consistent ICT architecture for the digital twin (including IIoT, data management, AI/ML)
Work alongside teams within the business and product management to establish digital business needs and priorities

Your background
You hold a Master of Science in statistics or mathematics or PhD in electrical engineering, Energy systems or Power Systems
Experience of 4-7 years in data models and reporting packages
Matlab and/or Python and/or relevant programming skills
You have an analytical mind and inclination for problem solving
Knowledge of Power Systems (AC and/or DC)
Fluency in written and spoken English
