Mission
The Rock Drilling Tools Division (RDT) Global Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) Manager has an important role to implement policies in alignment with the Mining and Rock Excavation (MR) business area within the field of Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental (QSHE) and Integrated Management System (IMS).

Job Description
The RDT Global QSHE Manager will be the management representative for the RDT ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 certified management system. The role also includes being the RDT Division representative in the MR SHE Council. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Be overall responsible for QSHE performance for the Division.
- Develop the RDT division QSHE to a global best practice. Making sure that the QSHE will have a significant uplift in performance and coordinate QSHE teams across the division to ensure a high performing, world class and safe products.
- Manage and secure that relevant product and process quality improvements are delivered. Provide the division with tools, processes and guiding principals to secure a world class product and process quality.
- Head the implementation and maintain an integrated management system (IMS) that should be certified in accordance with ISO 14001, 9001 and OHSAS 18001 in a global triple certification for the RDT Division. She/he will work closely together with the Division and local IMS/SHEQ Managers and local resources.

Efforts shall lead to increased safe working efficiency by alignment and secure improvement of processes and routines focused on supporting the operation.

Quality & Integrated Management System:

- Be responsible to improve the product and process quality.
- Be responsible for providing the division with the right tools, methods and training to secure world class product and processes.
- Responsible to align quality processes through the division.
- Be the system owner of the Divisional IMS. (Triple multi-site certificate).
- Be the support function to the Division in implementing an IMS that fulfils the requirements in The Way We Do Things, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
- Ensure the communication, training and understanding of the IMS tool as well as the underlying policies throughout the Division.
- Be the internal and external auditing process owner for the Division.
- Be a resource in acquisitions and internal audits when it comes to IMS issues.
- Benchmark industry best practice and be up-to-date with industry trend outlook.

Safety, Health, Environmental – Sustainability:

- Monitor and maintain the development of SHE issues.
- Attend the Divisional management meetings and present SHE performance and propose improvements.
- Support the Division to have appropriate and up to date policies and targets in accordance with the Group policies and goals within environment and health and safety.
- Support the implementation of Group Goals within the SHE area in the Division and follow up on the performance.
- Coordinate and improve the Group sustain reporting.
- Be a resource in acquisitions, supplier/customer risk evaluations and internal audits when it comes to SHE issues.
- As the Global QSHE Manager for RDT you will also be the RDT Division representative in the Group SHE Council, and the representative for SHE and IMS at the RDT Management meetings.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Quality and or SHE management.
- 3 years of professional experience in at least one of the following disciplines:, Quality manager or QSHE manager.
- Proven high performing QSHE track record, especially in Q area.
- Leading global teams.
- Good written and spoken abilities in English.

Personality Requirements
- Ability to engage, encourage and coordinate a team of different cultures.
- Get things done and self driven.
- Cooperative, reliable and able to work independently.
- Must have excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation and PC skills.

Country and City Description
Position will be ideally located in Fagersta, Sweden however the position can also be located in either of our RDT production sites across the globe.
